The Peterson Family

I met up with the Petersons to take family pictures on a beautiful fall weekend. I graduated with Shannon so I was thrilled when she asked me to capture her little family. Dad, Tim, spent four years in the Marines (THANK YOU for your service!) and little man, Hayden, is just so adorable. I wish all of my kids were as easy to photograph -- Hayden loves the camera. I didn't have to work to get him to smile. They are a truly beautiful family.

The Thyren Family

What's even more fun than photographing a family? When that family is your family! John is my Mom's younger cousin. I met up with him and his wife, Natalie, and their ADORABLE little boy, Henry, at Riverside Park in LaCrosse on a gorgeous Saturday morning. I have never met Natalie before -- life just seems to get so busy that time flies by even when getting together with family. We've been talking on Facebook for a couple years now and I was so excited to meet her. I had so much fun photographing their family. They were up for pretty much anything -- they even drove all the way from Wabasha, Minnesota, just to take pictures!! Regardless of the fact that they are family, these are some of my favorite pictures ever -- their clothes, the location, their awesome personality...makes for a fantastically good time. Ashley's Family

I met up with Ashley and her two adorable little tykes, Trenton and Kendra, on a beautiful October Saturday to take their FIRST EVER family pictures! They hold a special place in my heart as the kids have gone to the daycare for years. Miss Kendra was hanging out with me every day but now I don't get to see her anymore...sad. So it was great getting to hang out and have fun with them. And check out those GORGEOUS blue eyes on these kiddos!
