Della & Alexys

You know how when you see pictures of people all the time and you finally meet them in real life you feel like you're already friends? Well that's how I felt when I met up with Stephanie and her daughters for pictures. Stephanie is another local photographer, so it was quite an honor when she asked me to photograph her daughters. It's nice to know someone trusts you to take their pictures and that they appreciate your style and talent. She was up for pretty much anything which -- as a photographer knows -- always makes a session more relaxed and flow easier. The girls did great at anything I asked and even came up with some ideas of their own. :)

Mia - Fall 2012

I've known Mia since she was just a little baby. Before she could even sit up she filled a special place in my heart. She was my original "cling-on" baby at daycare and would cry if I left the room. Her smile would melt my heart every day. I was sooooooo sad when her Mom found a different job and Mia went to a new daycare. I haven't seen her since her parents' wedding almost two years ago. So, I was beyond excited when her Mom contacted me about taking some pictures of her. She is so grown up now -- it makes me sad how fast she's growing. But she still has that same sweet smile and warm hug. You'd never know it by the pictures but she was absolutely freezing that day. But what a trooper -- smiling through the whole thing! It was so great to see them again!

The Harleson Girls

I've known Megan since middle school and this was the second time she asked me to photograph her and her beautiful girls, Hailey and Brianna. Don't let those smiles fool you -- these girls made me WORK for this session! Neither girl was overly interested in doing pictures. In fact, I think Brianna would have rather gotten at shot at the doctor's office than sit for pics. Lol! But overall the session was fun and they are too stinking cute that they are worth ever drop of sweat that was put into getting this session completed. :)

Michael - Class of 2013

I was contacted by Michael's mom about doing his senior pictures and I was so excited to meet them. I'm not going to lie -- senior guys are my favorite people to photograph! Not for creepy reasons (LOL!)...but because they are so EASY to work with! They're usually pretty relaxed and cooperative (because they know that the sooner they cooperate the sooner they're done!! LOL!). They aren't too concerned with their clothes and their hair and all those tiny little details. And Michael was no exception! He was great to work with -- and even brought a little gift to make the session better -- his Dad's new CORVETTE!! Yes, please!! We did pictures at a nearby park location and then headed back to their house to get some pictures with the family dog, who -- by the way -- loved me! Good luck Michael on your bright future!
