The Beltz Family

I met the Beltzes when I photographed Brody for his 18 month pictures and I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph Dakota & Judy's wedding a few months ago. They met up at my home to get some family pictures taken, as well as Brody's 2-year and Landen's 3-year pictures. They are one of my favorite families -- mom is so laidback and happy, dad cooperates easily (so he can be done!) and the boys are just so stinkin' cute! I had a great time catching up with them again!

Mackenna - 3 months old

I've known the Johnson family since 2006. Dad, Erik, was deployed with Jordan during their first tour in Iraq. I was not able to make it to their wedding, so I was very excited to finally get to meet Rebecca. And to get to meet their new adorable little lady, Mackenna. They drove over two hours to get family pictures taken since Erik is deployed again -- this time to Afghanistan. It will be great when he's back home safe and they can be reunited again.

Jaron - 6 months old

By now I'm sure these three look very familiar. Jayden, Jaron & Lily -- cutie cousins who always make sessions fun and interesting. We met up to get some pictures of the three of them together for Easter, as well as Jaron's 6-month session. However, things did not go as easily as anticipated. To get three kids under three to sit together? It's like trying to perform surgery -- very complicated! We managed to get a few pics, but ultimately ended up with some super cute unposed, not-looking-at-the-camera pictures. Sometimes you just have to take what you can get and the results can be ADORABLE! Watching the two older kids push Jaron in the wagon just melted my heart.
